Dance in the New Testament is all about ushering in the glory realm of God. In this essay, I will explain how the Old Testament purposes for dance were sustained in the New Testament, and also show how new understanding of God’s pleasure in dance is added through the story of Salome’s dance before Herod, as well as an in-depth look at the heavenly worship.
